Playtime with twins- learning words

Kannan Unni-ye  ezhuthiniruthi  on vijayadasami.So now I can assist them in drawing by holding their hands. During our crayons experiments I showed them how to draw a face .I drew a face and said it is Kannan.Then Kannan drew a line and said “this is amma” J

We went to moncompu temple for the “ezhuthiniruthu” ceremony .Before we started  our journey Amma gave Unni a coin to put in kanikka.He hold that coin safely in his hand ,even during his “ezhuthiniruthu”ceremony time also..and finally when we entered temple ,he took out that coin safely from his clench and put it in the kanika.

Another day we went for a temple festival .Before leaving Amma gave both of them a small vada.Kannan ate it quickly.Unni was holding it in hands and eating it slowly.We thought he would finish it off when the car reaches temple.After reaching temple they got balloons to play .We saw Unni playing with balloon ,in between he is stopping at some corner and eating something. When I went near him,I saw the small vada piece he was storing in his tiny hands ,he was eating it during the play break .

Unni always want something in his hand to hold .He was holding a spoon in his hand when we went to coimbatore, sometimes it’s a stick,one day he was holding a beans in his hand while we visited our relatives house. He will hold it safely during sleep,during journey time.

moncompu temple is located in kuttanad.we had to cross the river in a boat.Kannan unni enjoyed the real time boat journey J during temple visit.When we reached middle of river Unni said “amma shark varunnu “ (shark is coming mom) J..people sitting in the boat was looking at him in a surprise.

Pooja holidays were enjoying for kannanunni ,as they got lot of toys and balloons during temple visits although toy’s  life was for a few minutes

Kannan was doing RnD on how to break a balloon.He broke one by biting,another by sitting on top of it,another by clenching his nail on it….there was no more balloons now for his research.Now when I dress him up for play school both of them says “amma school venda ,ambatti (temple) pokam”

They learned a lot of new sentences from school.A new sentence”anganeyalla inganeya”…Kannan was trying to close a jar ,but couldn’t …then Unni  seized it from him and closed it saying”anganeyalla inganeya”.I heard this 2 -3 times that day.They were trying to learn and use it at appropriate places.Its very interesting to observe the way in which they learn new things.

Another day they were going through a picture dictionary.Unni said pointing at a duck”de kozhi”..Kannan smashed him and said “alla athu thaaaavaaaaaru “ (he meant Tharavu).

Now Kannan started  saying short stories .”oridathu dragon undu……hmmmm…pinne ….dragon rajakumari …kondupoyi…..pinne …..kannan vedi vechu …dishum dishum….dragon chathu poyi..”
